  • biography:
I am a user-oriented designer defined by the intersecting cultures of Kenya, Yemen, Canada and England. The realm in which I think is idea-driven and interdisciplinary.

In 2011, I completed a Masters of Architecture at McGill University, focusing on Urban Design. Prior to this, my Bachelor of Design from OCAD University was in Communication Design, with a particular interest in Wayfinding Design and Branding. As a result, I spend my creative days playing at the intersection communication design, architecture and urbanism.

My experience has been derived from design studios, teaching design and international entrepreneurial work (Toronto, Montreal, London, Manchester, Melbourne, Amman, Mombasa, Nairobi, Malabo).
